Strategic mask-wearing can save lives

It’s why I’ve decided to post a link to this 18-minute Globe and Mail podcast, featuring Dr. Kim Lavoie on the subject of masks.
Lavoie is a psychologist at UQAM, a Canada Research Chair in Behavioural Medicine, and co-director of the Montreal Behavioural Medicine Centre.
In this interview, she clearly explains how public-health officials and governments have failed to communicate the value of strategic mask-wearing. Lavoie links this to the crisis in hospital emergency rooms and the rising number of children’s deaths due to respiratory illness.
